Whatsup people! My names Mike, Nikki made this page for me to tell you about myself (even though I really suck at about me’s) soooo here it goes.
I pretty much have music owning my life at the moment. I play guitar, bass, used to play a bit of drums and currently learning a bit of piano (mostly just know enough to program MIDI stuff). I used to be the bassist in a post-hardcore band, Listen For Lions, who I manage/produce/co-write/advise still and currently I’m in 2 other musical projects; Village Letters and Bermuda (obviously). I’m a major concert junkie. I try to go to a show at least once a week (mostly during the summer). If school, work, and lack of money didn’t influence my ability to go more often I’d probably be living on the streets of Manhattan outside various venues from night to night.

I’m currently in the Music Productions and Recording Arts program at Mercy College and work in the studio at the White Plains campus. I am also a freelance audio engineer and producer for my company FTR. Music (currently working out of the facilities at Mercy College). On the side I also film live shows, do very low budget music videos, and some writing (concert/album reviews).

Other than that, I’m a really laid back guy. I love recording people, love all my little odd jobs, love school, love playing music, love writing, love listening to people, love the people around me and pretty much love everything I have going on right now.
I met Nikki through a mutual friend in March 2010. I saw her on Facebook and she was (and still is) the most attractive girl I have ever seen, so naturally, I needed an excuse to start talking to her. She was doing photography at the time so I lied and said Listen For Lions needed pictures (I mean, it was kinda true, we could have used the pictures). The shoot never happened, but we started talking on Facebook, then started sending lame questions to each other on Formspring, then started texting, and extremely long story story short (lol), we’ve become closer and closer over the past year or 2. I feel lucky to have her in my life.
Anyways, Nikki and I have been talking about doing this for a while and I’m happy to finally start it. She’s an incredible writer, one of my closest friends, and I’m really excited to start working with her on this project. I hope you guys like what we come up with :)
